It’s totally conceivable that my kids would eat us out of house and home as if a biblical plague had swept through the cupboards.
So with this rational I find it comforting that I’ve sequestered a small parcel of chocolates away for our (adult) consumption.
It’s not a case of me being selfish, in fact quite the opposite, I feel it’s my responsibility to take away the agonizing choice they would need to face when looking…
Ah hell who am I kidding, it’s selfish, can’t a parent have something that’s theirs alone?
That’s part of the beauty of being an adult and a parent, you can choose what they have access to and what you keep for yourself.
