Kids treat butter like normal people treat cheese; in chunks, straight in the mouth, and with utter delight.
Why do kids devour raw butter? (for want of a better description)
I’ve seen them just pick a full chunk of yellow butter up and start chowing down on it.
Not to say that we don’t all like butter, but generally melted on something like toast, or on fresh steamed vegetables, but not from the container into our gobs with no regard.
I guess that it’s a bit like social interactions isn’t it? Kids haven’t learnt those nuances about boundaries, where too much of a good thing isn’t good anymore.
I know some adults like that, I Wonder if they eat huge swathes of raw butter in the quiet moments of the morning?
