Your kids will be scared of all forms of crawling, flying, and scurrying critters. Bees will be of main concern.
In my 40 odd years I think I’ve only been stung twice by bees; once while running barefoot across my grandmother’s lawn at age 6 or 7 (a vague memory at best), and once several months ago while hanging the washing out. The silly bee was chilling in the peg basket for some reason.
Has mankind been relentlessly hunted by these beasts so much through our many years of evolution that we innately fear them. Or is it just their crawling, touchy feely legs that freek us out?
Whatever it is kids tend to have a genuine fear of these little beasties as do many adults.
