Outgrown

You can’t expect your kids to love the same stuff all their lives, it’s likely they won’t think about that cherished: song, TV show, or movie when they’re older.

It’s also likey they won’t hold that: toy, book, or gadget in high esteem for longer than a year.

Think about yourself, what movie did you love as a kid? I loved The Blues Brothers, and in truth I still like the film, but while looking through Google movies I saw it in the less than $10 section, bargain right?

But I didn’t buy it.

Perhaps I watched it too much as a kid, or maybe I outgrew it. Whatever the case is it’s not really a part of my circle anymore.

The same is true with your kids, the trick for you, as a parent, is to change and adapt with them, or before them if you can.
