Bananas

Nature’s own little wrapped up fruit that kids love to open but not eat.

Every week I swear to a higher power that I’ll not buy another banana, but then I get to the shops, trolley full of delicious human wrapped foods, and see the bananas in all their yellow glory.

Buy they look good, and so cheap!

But once I get those delicious fingers home I realise my mistake, the kids are just going to unwrap these things and hide the uneaten carcass away.

The shell will sit stoic lease somewhere within view, while the flesh will rot and call in the flies.

Bananas; nature’s corpses with their own soft yellow coffins.
